New Wiring for the VGRB2!
We've changed the wiring on the VG Single Direction Rope Brakes we supply!
They can now operate with an overspeed governor with1 N/C contact, which means an extra contact on the governor is no longer required. With the wiring simplified and the VG Rope Brake able to be mounted on either side of the traction sheave (or if necessary between the traction sheave and divertor), what easier and more cost effective method is there to prevent a lift from upward overspeeding?
The new wiring diagram is available to download on the Technical page as a standalone PDF document, and it has also been incorporated in to the existing VGRB2 manuals, including the French, German and Italian versions.
